SAMEBIKE RS-A01MEN is an urban electric bike with 3-inch tires, a front basket and a rear rack, making it ideal for commuting, city riding and cargo transportation.

Although SAMEBIKE electric bikes are designed to handle wet conditions, please keep in mind that riding in heavy rain may affect battery life and reduce traction, so please be careful and try to avoid riding in the rain. As for the waterproof rating, the entire bike meets the IP54 standard, the motor, battery and display is the IP64.

The SAMEBIKE electric bicycle is fully compliant with the legal regulations for assisted bicycles in both the European Union and the United Kingdom:

1)Maximum Speed:The default speed setting upon purchase aligns with EU/UK regulations at 25KM/H. However, for those inclined, it's possible to unlock the speed limit to reach 35KM/H or higher (instructions to remove the limit can be obtained from customer service).

2)Maximum Power:The motor doesn't have explicit power markings, adhering to EU/UK regulations. The actual motor power is indicated by the "D" code, like "500W" as "500D" or "250W500D," encompassing both rated and peak power within legal limits.

3)Pure Electric Drive Mode:The bike comes with a detachable thumb throttle. Removing it complies with EU/UK regulations, which prohibit a pure electric mode. However, users can install the throttle according to preference for a pure electric mode (instructions for the detachable throttle are included or available via customer service).

4)Product COC Certification:All SAMEBIKE models have obtained CE and UKCA certifications from the EU's ECM institution, ensuring full compliance with legal standards.

Bought this as my first excursion into ebikes

Bought this as my first excursion into ebikes. It is very heavy which is fine with the epower but the mechanical brakes have to work hard! A little unsettling at times under hard braking. The bike was pretty easy to set up, positioning the handlebars was tricky but got it sorted eventually without issue.
The power is great, activating the thumb throttle and adjusting the settings was pretty easy with help from Google and the Samebike customer services.
The battery life is probably not quite as advertised but it's not bad.
Gearing is ok but could do with an extra couple on the back given only one front cog.

In summary, a good bike to ride, comfy, responsive and quick but heavy, could do with a couple of extra cogs on the back and hydraulic brakes - but for the money, it's blooming great.
Only had it a couple of weeks so don't know about how robust it is though.

Very good purchase for me

Very good purchase for me. I own a 21 gear hybrid standard push bike which is very my lighter than the RS-AO1MAN. I am recovering from a major operation where I still need pedal power but at the moment loose breath very quickly. So samebike makes this a lot easier as you only need a light peddle to move. I am also using it for small shops down to local supermarket. It is surprising how little weighs a lot when you try to pedal.
It is good to get fresh air as well and people comment on how good the bike looks. Anyways I like the bike, it gives me my freedom back as well. It is a shame it has only a short range. Maybe that's for later.

Took the bike out today, everything went well and quite happy with it's performance,
It was easy to put together and it came well protected in it's package.
A strong sturdy bike ,and hopefully it will last me a long time.

Dynamic Real World Test

I am 6ft 4in (194cm) and weigh 118kg so the to end of any electric bike. I went for a proper test the other day cycling from Arbroath to Easthaven and back. It an up and down terrain and about 18 miles door to door. I used PAS for the whole trip at setting 5. The bike itself it’s quite heavy and I had a good half battery left. I am very impressed with the bike but considering another battery to extend my journey capability.
